Both my children liked Priscilla very much as a teacher and as a person. Mrs Z’s engagement with her students, her kindness and sincerity, promotes positive relationships between her and her students. I have no doubt that Priscilla is a valuable asset to each and every of her students.
Mrs Priscilla Zephaniah often goes the extra mile by helping my children with their Mathematics if they have difficulties solving the problem sums. This is beyond our expectation as she was not engaged to teach them Mathematics. Through Mrs Z’s teaching, both my children has shown improvement in their results for English and Science.
However, when he was working with Priscilla, her work with him has significantly improved his difficult situation. Mrs Z has encouraged him to complete his work in a timely manner, to become more organizationally independent, and to expand his writing by incorporating his sentences with explanatory details that helps him.
Dyslexia and developmental reading disorder, is characterized by difficulty with learning to read fluently and to have accurate comprehension of the text. This is despite having a normal or above average intelligence. His writing level is far more elementary than one would expect for someone his age (year 3). My son was very vocal about not wanting to do any of his school issued work or assignments. He was not even willing to attempt it!
Mrs Zephaniah has outstanding teaching methods and skills. Her teaching is very detailed. My son, although is very bright in Mathematics, is resistant to all written work and has been diagnosed with being Dyslexic.
Mrs Priscilla Zephaniah is a dedicated, responsible and patient teacher. She has really helped my daughter to focus on areas that are sometimes difficult for her to understand. According to my daughter, Priscilla is strict, but very friendly and flexible. She is very patient and encouraging. As an experienced Classroom Teacher, Priscilla knows how to help kids overcome difficulties according to her merit and weak points.
